About

Tiara Rolland

Hello, my name is Tiara. I truly delight in being a therapist and walking alongside others in their journey of life.

My approach to therapy is about being real while being kind, and being honest while working through the challenges at a pace that works for you. The space to do this work comes from building a relationship with you in a professional capacity where you know that you are in a safe space where you may share your story.

I chose to become a mental health therapist because I wanted to walk with others through the hard as we seek and find hope. I love deep conversations but I also love to laugh and I believe that there is a time for each and we need both.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Global Studies at Azusa Pacific University with a minor in psychology. This is just a fancy way of saying that I  learned a lot about culture and the process of sustainable change where change comes from the people desiring the change, with the assistance of a facilitator.  I later received my dual Master's degree in psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling, allowing me to see people from varying populations, socioeconomic statuses, ethnicities and ages. And over the years I have had the privilege of providing therapy to  people of diverse cultures from various walks of life including veterans, students, youth, children, young adults, couples, the elderly, and babies.

But more importantly, I've learned that we are all people who sometimes just need a chance.
